That is why I'm not going to download today's offering but I have friends that do use both systems so I've emailed them the link to this one. One friend uses PC for home and Mac for work and I imagine there are times he would like to transfer files I'm wondering if this would allow two computers with the differing systems to be connected and sort of networked through USB or does it have to use an external Mac drive connected to the PC?
It would be a bummer to have to pull the HD from the Mac in order to use this program. Paragon's little picture showing two screens with an arrow pointing at both does not quite answer this. I agree with Poorman, as I also have MacDrive installed on my system. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. These files can be accessed by all OSs - each running one at a time. Somehow, I keep using Ubuntu I'm my family's tech support, and some of them use Macs, and I've often worried that I wouldn't be able to do any hard disc rescue heroics on their drives if they ran into trouble, as I'm firmly PC based.

Poorman, my Kaspersky antivirus is incompatible with many software. A question, should I remove the Kaspesky or kick off all the other drivers and software? I can see it may sometimes come in useful in an IT support environment but as it's not OK for personal use only it's a pretty limited audience out there for it.
A keeper, but installation canceled, as it was adding too many services and startup items to my computer. Will install later on, if and when required, as Paragon installations can be postponed.
Note: One has to start the installation and click Next a couple of times in order to arrive at "Get Free Serial" screen. However, once you have the serial, just click Cancel. If you run a normal Windows computer then this isn't for you.
Question of the hour, is this really necessary except for those that own both a PC and Mac? Those of us that do use both know that file transfers are not a major problem and don't require extra software. Given it is incompatible with one working program why chance it wouldn't dislike another?
